Welcome to Combsberry, a historic waterfront estate nestled on a secluded cove on an inlet of the Chesapeake Bay.  This elegant English Country Manor Home is reminenscent of The Inn at Perry Cabin, also known for its attention to detail and service but at half the cost.  It is a hidden jewel located just an hour drive from Annapolis, Md and 90 minutes from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, Md.  While The Parsonage Inn and The Old Brick Inn are also favorite places to stay in St. Michaels, it might be time to try some place new and different.

Oxford, Md is home to The Oxford-Bellevue Ferry, believed to be the oldest privately operated ferry in the U.S.  Service has been continuous since 1836. The Robert Morris Inn is also steeped in history, built by Robert Morris around 1710.  His son, Robert Morris, Jr. was known as the "financier of the Revolution".  Alas, the restaurant known through the years for its famous crabcakes is no longer in operation but Oxford offers excellent alternatives with Pope's Tavern, Latitude 38, and The Masthead.  Outstanding restaurants are par for the course in Talbot County.

Come and celebrate Tabot! Sample, Sip and Savor!  This tasting event will feature 17 different restaurants in the surrounding areas.  It will take place at The Oaks in Royal Oaks @ 7:00 p.m.  Enjoy the bounty of the Eastern Shore and come back to Combsberry Inn to savour that romantic weekend only found at the end of a well travelled road.
