It’s official: Talbot Restaurant Week is back!

This year’s Restaurant Week will o...pen and close with two spectacular events—and you won’t want to miss either one!
To kickoff the 2nd Annual Restaurant Week, we will be hosting Celebrate Talbot. Sample, sip and savor with more than 20 restaurants offering their signature and special menu items for tasting at The Oaks Country Inn. The tasting will be held on Sunday, March 20th from 5 to 7 PM.
During the week, restaurants will offer special, two course lunch menus for $20.11 and three course dinner menus for $30.11—pricing will not including tax, tip and beverages.
Restaurant Week will close on March 27th with a special screening of the motion picture Julie & Julia followed by dinner at the Historic Tidewater Inn’s Gold Ballroom. As an added treat, our special guests of the evening will be Julie Powell, author of the book and subject of the film Julie and Julie, and Amanda Hesser who played herself in the film and is currently writing for the New York Times.
The event will benefit three local organizations that provide Food Banks to the people of Talbot County. In addition, the two will be on site at the Academy Art Museum for a reception and book signing. There will also be a special opportunity to win lunch with Julie and Amanda at Mason’s Gourmet Restaurant.
