Fridays Evening Sailboat Races
Don't miss the sailboat races off of Sandaway Beach and the Tred Avon Yacht Club.

Wednesday Afternoon Farmers Market at the Oxford Community Center
Through mid-October from 4-6 pm
Experience fresh summer vegetables and yummy treats at Oxford's Farmers Market. (The Blackberries are the largest you will ever see)


Sunday, June 5-Mid-Shore Community Band in Town Park-3 pm 
Join us in Town Park for a free concert by the Mid-Shore Community Band. The Band is made up of local musicians and is 45 members strong!

Sunday, June 12-Historic Walking Tour of Oxford-10:30 am 
Meet at Oxford-Bellevue Ferry to begin a short walking Tour of Oxford and its history. Your tour guide will lead you through the Town pointing out historic places and stories of Oxford's history. The event is free and open to the public.

Saturday, June 25-Cardboat Boat Races 
Join in the fun at The Strand for a great day benefiting the MD Special Olympics. Be a participant or just a spectator in the Cardboard boat Boat Races! The event begins at 10:00 a.m.

Sunday, July 3-Oxford Fireworks at Dusk! 
Some of the best seats for the fireworks show are on Sandaway's lawn and beach. Be sure to book your rooms well in advance! 

August 12-14-Oxford Regatta
Tred Avon Yacht Club hosts the annual Oxford Regatta which will include sailboat races. Live music will be at the Yacht Club Friday and Saturday nights. 

Saturday, September 3 - Nautical Festival
The Oxford Business Association invites your organization to take part in our first annual Port of Oxford Nautical Festival. It takes place on September 3, 2011 and is an all day event that includes a nautical flea market where businesses, non-profit organizations and private residents can sell their nautical goods such as arts and craft themed items, boats, new and used marine parts, fishing gear, dock accessories, nautical clothing and marine services.

Saturday, Oct. 8-Auction of Oxford's Picket Fences-4 to 6 pm
The 3rd Annual Auction of Oxford's Picket Fences will be held this year at Combsberry Inn's historic barn. The public is invited to this free event, featuring an auction of the 18 picket fences for 2011-plus food, drinks and live music! 

Oxford, Maryland 2011 Tour of Picket Fences - Memorial Day weekend through the end of September-pick up an Oxford picket fence map of our walking tour of the 18 picket fences. These picket fences, painted and designed by local artists, are displayed throughout Oxford for the summer season. Be sure to see this Eastern Shore event!
